Scrap Fabric Paper Dolls

If you're like me and have a million scraps of fabric that you have no idea what to do with then you'll want to do this activity with your kids.  I saw this great little idea over at Skip to my Lou to make scrap fabric paper dolls and knew it was a must.
You can find the paper dolls over there all ready to print out.

Then gather up all those scraps and your ready for some fun fashion designing.

Cut . . . Paste . . . Color . . .

I don't think we'll ever get tired of this activity!

Those are so cute. I loved paper dolls as a kid. I can't quiet get my tom boyish girl to care. Luckily my two year old will go for this one day!

My girls, too, would love this activity, though I'm not sure that I would love all the teeny tiny bits of fabric and thread that they will through all around the room as they do it. lol

My 7yo daughter would go nuts over this! And it would give her something to do instead of hovering over me as I sew... :) great idea, thanks!

And the sad thing is I've had all sorts of scraps sitting around for ages to do just this, and I haven't......

We found these last summer and my girls have had a blast with them. I even went so far as to use it for an Activity Days on modesty, where they got to design modest outfits. The girls LOVED it!

Lovely!! I used to LOVE doing this when I was a girl, although I made them for my toy animals and dollies by cutting and sticking with sellotape and pins!
Thanks for linking up to It's Playtime today!

Paper dolls - one of my favourite things to play with when I was a child. I think my girlies would love these. Thanks for sharing the idea.

How lucky that I came across your post in How We Grow play carnival. I think I am going to make the dolls from felt, and I am pretty sure that my daughter is going to love it. Thanks for the idea and a link to templates.
